Die hard Oregon fan always have been always will be. But after moving to Utah I keep getting pushed to pick a side and right now I am leaning BYU but its hard to cheer for them as well. Truth told I only watch them play if they play Oregon so my opinion is solely based on fans.

I also assume that a huge chunk of the hate for BYU is because they are a mormon school. I assume a good chunk of Utah "fans" are bitter x-mormons.

There are fans like that for every team. Not just a Utah-BYU thing d00d

Of course but this is a discussion about BYU and Utah.

Although there are very few rivalries that have as much religious stuff surrounding the rivalry.

If you want I could discuss this with regards to Oregon and Oregon State if you want to make a thread about that or another rivalry.

Busted, die hard Byu fan here just have not realized it yet. Although I do love beer more than anything so I would be upset over it being wasted.

These threads are so funny. Every year we get the same thread that basically reads the same. Can we jus sticky this one and just repeat what we say, and ten years from now when both teams are relevant this thread might finally go somewhere. Utah sucks! BYU sucks! Who the hell cares!
