Um, Falslev is easily one of my favorite byu players of all time, and I'm pretty sure that sentiment is shared by most Ute fans.

BYU head football coach Bronco Mendenhall announced in a statement Thursday evening that senior safety Joe Sampson and sophomore linebacker Zac Stout had been suspended from the team for violating team rules.

BYU said both Sampson and Stout have withdrawn from school and will not be back this season.

Lieutenant Matt Siufanua of the Provo Police Department confirmed Thursday night that there were BYU players involved in an altercation and that they were in the process of making contact with the witnesses and all parties involved.

I don't mind that they are done for the season, but I guess we'll have to wait for details because the withdrawing from school thing seems extreme. The semester has what, a month left? I'd want my credits at least before being told to walk.

Rumor is Stout hit a girl, whether it was on purpose or not is still not known.

Bills is better than Sampson so no big loss.

Stout would have been a backup the next two years anyways so also not a big loss.
