Ugh. It's rough having The Thriller as one of our fans, but it's equally bad having you on the other side. Neither of you bring anything funny, clever, or witty. Trash talk, or really, football talk in general, just isn't your thing. Go talk about the Jazz or something.

As for BYU, they really need to analyze their recruiting and coaching. Once again they failed at putting someone into the NFL and once again they were outplayed by a wounded duck Utah team.
1. The Oline looked bad. Unable to protect Riley or create holes.
2. The WRs failed to get open and make plays for 99% of the game.
3. The QB is... Well... what he is. Riley is essentially Tebow. But that game plan surely doesn't help him out. Roll him out, give him some quick easy reads, get the ball out of his hands...

Good chessmatch and the veteran d-coordinators on both sides out-coached the young OCs on the other side. Doman clearly did not prepare them well for the RES environment and that's weird cuz he knows what it's like. And he obviously struggles with making adjustments.
Love BYU's personnel but hate how they are used. BYU played right into Whit's hand essentially conceding the run game and making Riley a pocket passer. Oline struggled against no rush or max rush it didn't matter. And that's because there was no threat of a run game. Utah had their ears pinned back from the start. Line up in the I. Commit to the run. And then use play-action. At least against a good defense like Utah's.
Having said all that, if Utah doesn't hit Riley's arm on the last play before the field goal stuff Hoffman is wide open in the endzone.
