What's new

BYU is going to look so dumb on ESPN

Star did what Star did. Stuffed the run, eat up 2-3 olinemen, allowed teammates to make plays.

That's kinda what I figured..... he is one of them "what he brings to the team doesn't show up in a box score" types.

Not a bad thing btw.... helps everyone else shine (like trevor riley last season).

Best case scenario is he turns into a holi gnata (no idea how to spell it, baltimore dude) type and eats up blockers and gets a fair amount of sacks.

He has the physical tools, just needs to stay healthy and keep a solid work ethic.

It was nice to see austin collie get a few catches the other day too..... dude has had a rough go with the injuries, hopefully he can stay healthy and help the niners while crabtree is out

I think the guy is being foolish and its not just a Utah/BYU thing either. His quality of life can only go further downhill with more head trauma. I know it's gotta be hard to walk away from an NFL career but he should walk away while he still can.

I would probably quit..... but then I'm probably not near as competitive as an nfl player is.

The sport is so dangerous that the nfl almost needs a committee to ban guys from playing after a certain amount of injuries.

Collie will probably regret it when he is 50 but for now I just hope he don't get any more concussions

I read a little blurb on him some months back saying he was having a hard time finding a team to sign him because of the concussions. He said he was willing to sign a waiver releasing the NFL from all liability. I think he's dumb to keep going. His brain is going to end up the consistency of jello if he gets too many more of them.

I'm a Niners fan, so really, I hope he stays healthy (no more bonks to the head) and plays well.

He's taking a huge risk, though.

When you're living right and doing the right things on and off the field, and when you’re doing those things, things come together.

Somebody should remind Collie of this quote when he is 50 years old and pooping his pants while being spoonfed.

Nevermind, he won't remember saying it anyway.

You can tell football season is almost here when I see someone in BYU gear and want to punch them in the face, then pee on their car.
