I don't know where Green is going with the Nelson comparison, but basically BYU has jumped out big against every ranked team they've played this year(4 or 5 teams I believe so far), looked in control for 90% of the game, and then crumbled down the stretch. And Carlino is oftentimes the reason they jump out to the lead and the main reason they end up losing those leads because he goes brain dead when the game is on the line late or when BYU is hot he takes stupid shots and makes horrible plays and is seemingly always the one that gets them out of the flow. At worst, his bad/good play flux cancels out though. And BYU is really good when he puts together a full game. I think BYU's matador defense is probably the bigger issue. They all are terrified to commit fouls. They really need Bronson Kaufusi to start playing just to set the tone.....I don't if he is actually going to play this year or not though.
