Yes, this is common -- many posters have alts or prior identities on here. I've been a member of this site, since at least 2003. One of the few originals is Carolina Jazz. And of course, Colton and Jason.

I don't see the big deal with alts as long as people don't misuse them to be rude or hateful to others. Although, there's always people that do. It's easier for them to act out a "character" when you're hiding behind a "mask".

I just talk Jazz sports and don't worry about the rest. I don't judge those who do more. I just don't have the time anymore. Still, I love you all, JazzFanz! I appreciate what everyone does to support the team! I just wish I owned the team. That'd be fun.
