What's new

Call me a homer a thousand times

So you are saying that a swap like that makes sense?
Essentially. Jazz would definitely have to sweeten it somehow (I'd be reluctant to include Burks or Hayward since the perimeter talent on the Jazz is still shaky and I've already voiced my thoughts on Favors and Millsap). Kanter, GS pick, own pick, Jefferson, Watson?

I'd be okay with Kanter + GS pick. That's a pretty good offer, IMO.

The good news is that I don't think that the Kings want or need Burks or Hayward. They already have too many guys that play the same position as those two. Kanter and the GSW pick seems like a fair swap at this point.

I will still rather take on some salary and shed Jefferson instead.

By the way, I still really like Kanter. I'm not sure if the league-wide value is there, unfortunately. Would be interested what non-Jazz fans think.

Can't speak to what GM's believe, but several of the scouts i've known for years think he's misused and just need the right team. That feeling is not as common as u may think, btw. These are paid scouts, not casual fans. I think his value is pretty good.

Kanter/Jefferson/1st rounder seems like a pretty good package to me if Sacramento is going to open the lines/start making calls.
