So, since we are journalizing our daily lives here I will do the same.
I woke up a little later than normal. My phone (which is also my alarm) was on my wife's side of the bed and instead of snoozing it for me she turned it off. I then hurried and cleaned myself up and then went to work. Due to the rain everyone forgot how to drive. My normal commute went from being 40 minutes to a little over an hour.
When I got to work I sent off a bunch of emails and then met with my boss. We had a great talk about the goals for the month of September as well as October. I then gave a tour of the office to a new corporate partner and set up another meeting with her to organize the partnership.
From that point on it was off to sell. I went back to Utah County and talked to as many businesses as I could, convincing them that DirecTV in their business is a smart choice (which it is because 85% of bar and restaurant subscribers believe that DirecTV programming creates a more lively atmosphere). After a day of about 50% rejection and 50% interest it was then time to come home.
When I got home it was time to start making dinner and taking care of the kids so my wife could work. I have now taken a little break to get on here and share with all of my loyal listeners how my day went. I hope all of you have enjoyed the update. Just wait until you hear what happens tomorrow!
