Nah. It's just gambling. It's not like you know the outcome. You don't root for your team to lose so you can make some money, then have the gall to post on a fan forum. It pissed me off.

I get where you're coming from, but just because you bet against your team doesn't mean you root against them. In fact, if you want your team to win more than you want money, that makes you a pretty badass fan, tbh.

Hey I fully support "emotional hedging" ... where you bet against your team but hope they win. If you win, you're ecstatic. If you lose, you're sad, but at least you get money. Normally reserved for big games or series (like if the Jazz were in the finals)

My two bits...
One, we had better have an epic post with some real epic eye candy instead of the shark girl from the Pelican's game. We need all the lucky girl we can get.
Two, the Jazz beat the Warriors last season. That was one of their 15 losses.
Three, we matchup well against them. We actually have more length than they do. If Gobert can defend the paint well enough then our perimeter players may be able to cheat and chase these guys off the 3. Our makeup is different than most in the league.
Four, the bench is going to have to play their hearts out.
If there is good honey on the game thread, then the Jazz Wonderbra will support a win!

I would be more optimistic if Exum could guard Curry. Steph is going to have to have an off night shooting for them to lose.
Yeah, I did that with the Thunder game. I just knew that was going to be a bad game. I have a feeling about this one though.

Oh, I forgot to mention that I am super worried about the Brandon Rush revenge game. For whatever the reason is, he seemed to have a negative experience when he was in Utah and is salty about it. He just made like 4 or 5 threes against Phoenix, and is starting tonight. Something to look out for.
