Can the Shelvin Mack experiment please end?

Mack played 268 games, only 14 as a starter before coming to the Jazz.

9 games and 8 as a starter with Jazz!

I can say only one thing, shame on you Quin!

Or sending a message to the Front Office that neither Neto or Burke can cut it as the starting PG for the Jazz. Leaving Mack out their he blows his opportunity too. Get rid of Mack and Burke and at least see if Neto can come in next season and make it as Exum's backup.
Acquiring Mack is exactly the same strategy as DL used in signing Elijah: he wanted to go after Paul last summer and having his brother on the team was the incentive. But the Millsaps apparently aren't as close as the Morris twins. Now he wants Hayward to stay and will use Mack, Gordon's little buddy from Butler, as the carrot.

Shelvin is a sure bet to remain on the team next season. He'll probably start until Exum shows he can play 25+ minutes. Mack will only be re-signed after next season if Hayward returns. If not, his fate will be the same as Elijah's.

At the very least Mack sucking it up makes this post from ncoloradojazz all the more hilarious:

Last year after hayward was drafted all i heard for his argument was he lead a team to a final 4. I came on here and said he wasnt the leader or the 2nd guy even , he was 3rd option and i was bashed as being an idiot who knows nothing boutbball. A year later maybe some of you will own up and give me an apology where its due. MAck is a player the jazz should be looking at and i said it last year. Hayward was only 3rd option on the butler team. Mack was 1 and howard was 2.My props are due here. If you dont believe me drag up the threads from a year ago.

C'mon, ncoloradojazz, show your face in this thread so we can all give you your dues.

FANTASTIC find, Nate! Wish I could rep you multiple times for this.

If he keeps playing like the last two games, I doubt the Jazz will retain him. Neto has looked a lot better, and Trey obviously is on his way out, for a variety of reasons including that he wants to leave.

Our pgs are beyond poop... We can just pick one and cross our fingers but it's like picking between whether you'd rather eat a poop sandwich, poop meatloaf, or poop pie... Either way it's poop... Also poop.
This.
Think about the pg situation since d-will.

Washed up devin harris, crappy chucker version of mo, earl watson, jamaal tinsley, eric green, john Lucas the turd, diante garrett, mack, neto, burks, burke, ingles, ckicken **** exum....

Lots of variations of poop.

And pg seems to be the easiest position to acquire talent due to the depth at the position in the league.
Yet we end up with poop every time

Put it all together, and whatta you got -- one huge load of elephant turd. It'll be interesting to see how Exum turns out next year. Anyone have an update on his status? Could he possibly play next month?

You forgot about Palousio and the Fart -- the Fart was by far the worst, even put the turd to shame.

How many years has it been since we had a legit starting point guard on the team?
And they say point guard is the deepest position in the NBA right now...

I was talking only about pg's after d-will left.

Can't be skipping steps. Dennis and Quin have PROMISED Utah will be the best in player development.
Neto is a pass-first PG who is going to develop into John Stockton. And I see some Gary Payton in Shelvin Mack. As for Dante, well, he's just so big for the position. That can only mean a future Magic Johnson!
