Somehow they're able to determine the sex of a unborn reliably based on analysis of amniotic fluid even if there's indicators that this can possibly hurt the kid.
Your body doesn't produce estrogen or whatever makes a person biologically assume he's a female, it's a mental thing that can prolly be lead back to daddy issues or whatever. Right now, at least in America, it's assumed that being psychological transgender is a mental disorder. So based on a concensus of American psychotherapists it's a unconcious decision that leads to such a situation. I'll give u some more intel tomorrow about that topic. Gotta sleep now. Gn8

I was never talking about anything other than gender dysphoria which you highlighted as a mental disorder. Don't know how you misinterpret a statement like "psychological transgender". The article says the inmate is suffering from that consititution and feels she doesn't receive the right treatment.
Manning even used his mental state in court when explaining how he was uncomfortable with his disorder in a very intolerant army setting.
Really hyped what the pros have to say about that.

I think there are some people who are predisposed to homosexuality, some very strongly predisposed. I think others are not strongly predisposed to being either straight or gay. I imagine there is a whole spectrum of sexual disposition and not a gay/straight switch in our DNA.

I'm 100% with you that it does not matter if it is a choice or not. The individual has every right to make that choice if that's what it is. I find the "can't help it" argument to be weak as well. To me it's completely besides the point. If you were "born that way" fine. If you chose to be that way, fine. Both are legitimate and both individuals deserve equal rights under the law.
