Sasha Kahn hung up the sneakers because of chronic ankle problems. Could Withey or Pleiss be moved for an asset and to clear some space on the Jazz roster?

It seems like CJ is a goner. If they want to keep someone from their rookie crop (maybe they don't) it seems like Pleiss or Withey have to be moved to get to 15.

You are correct. It makes 19 if you add the three rookies. Johnson and Withey are not guaranteed and Pleiss is.

We need Withey this year... Pleiss has no "win-now" value and very likely has zero value. If Favors is extended I think we give away a 2nd round pick to a team to take on his salary. If Favs is not extended and someone good gets cut then I think we may look to add that player and release Pleiss.
CJ is for sure gone... we could also send out Mack for a second rounder to get a roster spot.... I'd only do it if they had someone they liked a lot though because Mack did pretty well for us.

But if it is the case of moving Withey for a draft pick it would be more interesting to make a deal with a bad team rather than with a good one.

Perhaps the Cavs have a pick due them from a bad team. It seems if GM Lebron wants a player, management will come through.
