And he would have played another season worth of games because he would have been deep into the playoffs. Wiggins is a good player now. Not a star, but better than JR, RJ, Shumpert, Korver, etc. Not even close.

The Warriors run an equal opportunity offense which is why he joined the Warriors....

He also was able to make relatively the same amount of money and move from OKC to GSW, a better endoresement market.

CP3, the guy who was the primary pusher of the new CBA rule that lets veterans get paid out of the ***, isn't taking a 30 million per year pay cut.

They can't sign them unless they take the MLE, not enough cap-space. I think the only chance of building a contender to the Warriors is Lebron signing with Boston (not exactly sure how much money they would have to free up to sign him to his max, I guess about 8 million more than Hayward? Not positive). Then Boston trades for George or Butler.

I could see LBJ sending a big FU to the league and take some minimum contract deal to stay in Cleveland. That would send a message to the league and GS about his willingness to win. Imagine him going to the finals as the 8th or 9th best paid player on his own team.

I don't think that team plays well at ALL.

To me you need a Spurs/Jazz system. You need defense to beat the Warriors. If Lebron replace Favors at our PF we'd beat that team you just put up.
 
I hate how Durrant going to the Warriors ruined this season. I truly hope they break up.
Makes you wonder if you were an owner and you start to see your profits going down the next few seasons, just what will the owners will demand. For 1 they have to include a franchise tag and eliminate max contracts.
The future is going to be interesting.

In this scenario if given the option think i'd go with George over Butler he's probably a better defensive option against Durant.

Uhh, did you watch Boston? They run a pretty good system and Stevens is a great coach. Defensively there might be problems because Thomas is still there (though they might just look into trading IT to upgrade the defense since that team is going to be freaking amazing on offense no matter what). 2-5 matches up great defensively with GSW though.
