What's new

CBS reports tonight that Deron Williams has informed associates he looks to join Amar'e in NY

Garbage thread and garbage speculation. F the idiot who tweeted this garbage. Let's focus on the here and now. Until I see or hear Deron EXPLICITLY saying certain things, be about wanting to leave or wanting Sloan gone, or whatever, I will give the guy the benefit of the doubt. D-Will is still the man. He's in a slump offensively, but Utah fans at the game better tread carefully in light of all the negative attention he's been getting as of late, because booing him after all this drama will not help the situation at all.

But what if we can't stand him and want him gone?

Then boo him. Boo everyone and everything into oblivion. It is the Jazz fans' way, after all. Dunno how many years it will be until we see another PG of his caliber. I'm not saying he shouldn't see boos and flack ad nauseam if there was some concrete evidence to what's been said about him, but as I see it, there is no such evidence. So calling for his head on a plate is too much.

Just curious, what would constitute concrete evidence?

Jazzfanzs complaining about no loyalty from DW and then showing none by taking the word of some tweet'n "journalist".[/QUOTE

How Naive are you? Acting like Dwill is you boy and you must have loyalty to him? LMFAO. He is a player for a TEAM I am lotal too. You are a joke. Dwill has given us NO reason to believe he is LOYAL to the TEAM over the past 12 months.

I disagree. PG is stacked. Look around. Almost half the teams in the league have elite level point guards and there is are a few more comming out in this draft.

Yeah because there hasn't been any players who have left their teams as free agents for bigger markets recently....

Unless the Jazz can get another really good player or two and get a good coach and system in place, it's not a particularly attractive place for a star player who wants to win and be in the spotlight to play.

Keep in mind, both Joe Johnson and Shawn Marion left the Suns to make a bit more money when the Suns were favorites to win the west with Nash, Amare, D'Antoni, a fun system, warm weather, etc.

Shaq left Orlando to go to LA after he had taken the Magic to the Finals and wasn't even in his prime yet.

D.Will probably won't stay unless Utah is his best option, both financially and competitively. The Jazz need to make a couple moves.

Seems pretty flimsy. If he said it last offseason he was expectig the jazz to lose alot of their key players and probably didnt know they would acquire jefferson. with al, sap, hayward, evans jazz have a few core players to build around.

A lot of players in the league probably look at what Lebron, Wade and Bosh did last year and envy it. They get to play together, get paid, take over the league, and hang out in Miami. They and their agents probably summed it up in so many words.
