The only way that I would agree with you is if Jefferson starts playing team defense like he is supposed to and he is not a black hole on the offensive side of the game. Basketball is a team sport. Jefferson has amazing talent but it doesn't seem to be converted into talent that can be used with a team.

If Danny Ganger is an anchor and Greg Oden is not I have to assume that anchors are not what I first assumed... but Thabeet and Boozer are anchors as well so I guess I have to revise my theory again. Here's where it currently stands:

Granger is an anchor because the Pacers owe him a boatload of money ($40 million) over the next three seasons. He hasn't exactly lead them to glory thus far. Oden is not an anchor because he is in the final year of his deal.
