Celtics @ Jazz 8 PM MT 2/11/17 - Battle of the 34 win teams

The Clippers game should answer a lot of questions. I think the Jazz match up better with them, the game is at home, and after dropping two in a row we should see if they have some ****ing pride or not.

Ehh, the only thing to read into about the Boston game is that we will struggle against 5-out shooting teams if they are shooting well. We dominated the boards, won the battle at the FT line, and had less TO's while forcing 16. Overall we played fairly well despite the bad shooting game.

This one just came down to one team hit their open shots and the other didnt. If Joe Ingles and Kelly Olynyk swap 3pt shooter performances (both of them took the same quality of shots IIRC) then we win. They just had more guys step up and hit open looks than we did. The defense definitely should have been better, but it's just a regular season game and they are a hard team to adjust to in the middle of the season for our roster.

Ah hell. I didn't read the date. I saw Monday, Wednesday, Friday. Didn't realize the Friday is the 24th.

I thought the Celts just seemed a step quicker than us at almost every position and their open 3's (comparing Olynyk and Ingles) were far less contested.

What's discouraging about Favors is how much slower he is than he was. He was always much quicker than Rudy and almost as good at protecting the rim because of his quick leaping.

And Burks just isn't being used correctly right now; he doesn't seem to be fitting in.

IT may be strong, but when you have such a height advantage, all you need to do down low is turn around and shoot, no way he can stop that against someone six or more inches taller.

GH tried to do it twice but the Jazz couldn't get the ball down to him.

They sagged off the perimeter and pretty much crowded Hill, Jazz would start swinging the ball but the Celts rotated too well.

We play lights out on the first two games on the road trip, and look like we are finally coming together.
Then we **** the bed against Dallas, and get owned at home against Boston.

One thing is for sure anything is possible. I could see us playing too tight and getting killed in round one, but I could also see
us put it all together and win the first round with ease.

I will have my depends on standby.

1-They play 5 out, so they sort of neutralize Rudy taking him away from the basket.
2-The Jazz STRUGGLE defending small lightning quick PG's and it just so happens The Celtics have the best small lighting quick PG in the league. IT gonna make us look like a Thanksgiving turkey as he carves up our defense all night long.

I'm predicting the Jazz to suffer the worst home loss of the season tomorrow night primarily because its just a terrible matchup for us. I'd say losing by no more than 20 would be a big win for us and something to really take confidence and build upon.
