I’ll always choose winning and getting to the playoffs over tanking for the hope of a better pick and the risk that a one and done fails to pan out.

Agreed. The only exception being that year that if we made the playoffs we lose our 1st rounder and we made the playoffs, lost our draft pick, and got swept by the spurs.
I wish we would have lost a few more games and kept our pick.

Houston is #1 in the NBA for the season. With a +8.8 differential. That's how well we're playing.

Yep. Wes had some really bad takes early on. I can see where he was coming from. . . but this season is exactly why you DON’T trade yiung franchise players until you’re forced to get something for them. Also, why you don’t count on getting a pick that you think will be in the lottery. Rudy Gobert for the #8 pick in the draft would’ve been a Nuggets like trade in hindsight.

There’d definitely be a #FireDL thread around here somewhere.
