I dont get the knight hate at all. Is it because it takes away the chance to take the Jimmer? This is a 2 player draft. The consensus is the next two are Kanter and Knight. So what if the Jazz grab him at 3?
I like how people say they aren't taking BPA. How do you know what the Jazz draft board is? BPA is subjective.

At the risk of bugging you I'll respond. Since you associate me with the "Knight hate" crowd I figure I can speak for them. Initially there's the eyeball test. The kid is clutch and really likable, but never looked like a great floor general. Then there are those articles that highlight Knight's kinda crappy pure pg rating, and the misgivings on him feel supported by some analysis. That's not to say he won't be good. I think he will but I wouldn't want to pick him @ 3. I would take Kanter or trade down and grab either Bismack or Valanciunas.
At 12 there will be one of either Walker or Fredette. I don't see why people should be down on either of these guys. Maybe Knight will become better than these two but as of now I think they're all pretty close to equal value. -- so using the 3rd pick on one when the same value will be there later doesn't make sense to me.
This. I also don't understand why take Knight when we have Harris whos the same size/position and for all we know same type of player. Does anyone really think Knight is going to be better then Harris? Knight is going to be a above average pg, same as Harris.
It's not about Knight being better then Harris today, It's about Knight being better tomorrow. Knight is 18or19 yrs old and got a ton better by the end of the year and he's just going to continue getting better! Ty and his staff could work wonders with Knight.
And Who wouldn't love to watch Knight, Hayward, Favors for the next 15 years and hope they turn into the next Stockton, Horny, Malone Jazz Team? Also if the 12th pick (Singleton or JV if he falls that far) turns out to be a decent role player Utah could seriously become the Jazz team from 1996-1998 that was always in the mix for the Title!
You guys are more psychic than me. It seems like a lot of the Knight love is based on a future I just can't see.
Wow...
Now people are comparing Knight to Stockton.
Do the Knight homers have any bounds?
Put down the kool-aid people!
Thriller- No PG will ever be as good as Stockton...I was stating a line up of Knight, Hayward, Singleton, Favors, Jefferson is going to be one exciting line up in 2 or 3 years!
Im just glad Im a fan and don't have to have the weight of this week on my shoulders.
Bentley don't you want something to look forward to? My hope that Utah drafts well and this team turns into a yearly contender...I hate watching the Jazz lose!
KOC has some pressure to pick Jimmer. I would love to see the Jazz draft room be on camera if Sactown takes JImmer at 7 because KOC might actually exhale so long that he can be heard in Provo. If he is still there at 12 you will be able to feel the tension through the TV screen.
I would think that KOC has earned some credibility points with the most fans with how well Hayward played down the stretch. Will KOC remind the fans about their reaction last year? Will the Jazz fans remember how stupid they looked when they booed Hayward or will the Jimmermania be so great that Jazz fans will raise up their pitch forks and torches and throw stuff at KOC if JImmer is passed over? Thursday certainly will be interesting.
i'm encouraged about hayward's progress toward the end of the year, but in my mind a 9th pick getting 5 points per game isn't exactly legacy-restoring stuff for KOC. yes, he had a nice split for the 7 games in april, but ... sample size. hayward and KOC both still have a lot left to prove.
