He has excellent elevation and long arms and a very strong body.
That and Beal is actually 6'4.75" or commonly called 6'5".

So he's Eric Gordon because he has similar athletic tributes? Look at Eric Gordon's pay day........ Oh and Gordon is a freak of an athleteeric gordon: 6'3.25", 6'9" wingspan, 32.0 vertical, 40.0 max vertical, 15 reps on bench press, 10.81 on lane agility, 3.01 sprint
bradley beal: 6'4.5", 6'8" wingspan, 33.0 vertical, 39.0 max vertical, 8 reps on bench press, 10.95 on lane agility, 3.28 sprint
just sayin'.

Kanter is young and on a cheap contract, Stroked. His potential is a lot more alluring and also fits inside youth movements. It doesn't make sense for anyone to take on Jefferson unless he's going to be that final piece in a championship run. But if you have a 4-5 year window...
I believe the Jazz can easily pick up a reasonable replacement for Kanter on the open market. Hell, we're speculating about dumping a 27 year old power forward who works his *** off and has a 21.9 PER for a #6 pick or not resigning him for what he's worth. Keeping "undersized" Millsap is not a problem with Favors roaming around the paint and competent wing defenders to back them up. He's only 5 years into the league and fits perfectly into the youth movement, yet adds veteran experience and leadership.
Jazz have little chance of landing a top 5 shooting guard or small forward outside the draft. What are we hoping for at this point? Andre Kirilenko again? Jazz could pair Kanter with Jefferson for a high pick and cap relief. Then go after Batum and solidify twice over on the wing. Charlotte's shopping the #2. How about calling them up and offering last year's #3 and Jefferson for the #2, then swapping it for the #4 and 24?
i was responding to your comment about how he has long arms and he's strong, so he'll be fine. he actually has shorter arms than gordon and less strength... so if gordon hasn't turned into an elite NBA scorer, why will beal be?

I like some of the basics here. Maybe something like Jefferson and Kanter for #3 and filler and draft MKG. Then, if Marshall slips, I'd use pick #47 and the GS pick to try to snag him. I'd also try to keep our deep big man rotation by attempting to sign one or two of Stiemsma, Asik, Robin Lopez, and maybe even Oden on a flier. The filler could be Blatche who could come off the bench but I'm not sure if I want him here.
While I enjoy talking about and anticipating the Draft it also drives me crazy. With a very few exceptions, players in the draft are gambles. When we talk about giving up players that we know a lot about (Millsap, Burks) in order to be able to draft a Lillard or BEAL.... I have to ask myself if those guys are truly guaranteed, or even likely to be better than Millsap or Burks.
If you keep getting younger every year, and trade off good pieces to gamble that the next young guy might be better than the last young guy.
I am not convinced that the guys we are talking about drafting are worth giving up pieces required to draft them. YOU ONLY DO THAT FOR SURE THINGS, AND I DON'T SEE LILLARD AND BEAL AS SURE THINGS.
