Just looked it up. If they use the Thabo injury exception, once they buy out DRose, they should be able to offer someone up to $2.65 million for the rest of the year. That’s a nice chunk of change when most teams will be restricted to minimum contracts.

I like Burks. I’d like him better on a team that’s not Utah. I really like DeMarre Carroll better. Too bad they didn’t go after him. Bench of Udoh, Jerebko, Crowder, Carroll, O’Neale and Exum sounds fun as hell.
