I hate racism in any form but isn't this a free country where anyone can voice their opinion? I never think violence is an answer but for every point isn't there and antithesis?

Freedom isn't freedom from repercussions. Nor does that freedom allow them to infringe on the freedom of others. There was a protest of questionable ideals; and a counter protest to try to show that there's a lot of people that believe those ideals are questionable. You had two groups of people absolutely afraid of what they perceive as the other's message.

And from that stemmed violence, assault, terrorism and murder.

There should be limits on free speech, hate speech for example. The right wing has been trying to change the racial discrimination act here to allow right wing radio personalities and others to publish and spout all sorts of racist nonsense without repercussions. An extraordinary amount of sitting time in the nations parliament has been dedicated to this.

the problem with this hate speech stupidity. is that it inst universal. if i shoot you with a gun. or your neighbor or some random guy the hurt is universal.
but if i say look at a filthy jew to a muslim, or i say look at a filthy jew to another jew. it might hurt 1 and might not hurt the other. it isn't universal! therefore it cannot be a law. unless you are a socialist or tyranical govenrment you want those laws.


sometimes hatespeech laws get you convicted for no reason. for example a dutch politician said "mohamed the profit married a 6 year old girl, now adays we call tha pedophilia" guess what they consider the truth hate speech!

or what is happening to the google employee!


so if you want your hat e speech law. take your hate speech law and shove it where the sun don't shine.

my mouth is my property so i have control over it. not you or the government 50.00000000000000% of the people elect!
