I think something should have to win by 50% or more to count. Anything less and the top few options go to a runoff. Some of the choices take away from other, similar choices.

Life goes on regardless, but I think the winner should be able to get 50%.

Instead of a poll, proponents and opponents should have to fight it out, to death in a cage armed with hammers, last man standing wins. I know its a bit extreme claiming that it will a man left standing but im just playing the odds.
