Chris Haynes on Open Floor(SI) talking Hayward story and Players Tribune

I'm listening to a podcast with Chris Haynes and they are talking about Hayward story(he's the one that broke the story) and the Players tribune. They cannot confirm this but rumor is Hayward got paid for breaking the news on the Tribune! Are you **** kidding me? He played those games with our FO and with the fanbase for 6 hours so it would qualify for him breaking the news on the tribune and so he can get his clicks and get paid his fee? ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME? WTF is this????????????:mad:

Of course he got paid lmao. Why wouldn't he? Why would he give huge traffic to a site he doesnt own for free?

No. The point is he horsed us around for 6 hours just so he would collect his check!!! I don't mind him setting up things in whatever way he want to announce them and with whatever bonuses that would come his way - I mind it when he ****s us around for half a day after the story has been leaked so he wouldn't lose his deal with the Tribune.

I'm sure they had to finish writing it and clearing it or w/e. I don't really care. He wanted to get it out his way, **** just happened.
 
All he had to say in response to the Chris Haynes tweet was that he would be making his official announcement of his selection soon.

Hayward called the truth a lie.
