CJ injured wrist?

Geez it is a freak'n scrimmage. Would you rather have ED Davis? The guy is hurt again. How about we give the young guys a little time? Besides DW sucked tonight should we cut him.
Did you read what I wrote, or are you just out of your mind?

I thought Hayward was playing nervous. I didn't see any signs of him not being able to play in the NBA. He's actually got a decent sized body and he can keep up on D. And he survived a D-Will cheapshot -- following it with a nasty block.

I'd love to be wrong about my hysterical hatred of using the vaunted NY pick on Gordon ****ing Hayward. I really, really would.

I'm still going to keep an eye on Aldrich as he would've been my pick. But this thread's about CJ's bummer sitch. Sorry to derail, I just didn't see where the scrimmage discussion was initially.

I didn't say that but for a guy whose laurels rest in his heady play, looking lost and contributing nothing isn't exactly a good sign.

Were we at the same game? Hayward didn't look lost for a second; he just didn't get into an offensive groove. He had his man on D every time and his transition game was way smoother than most of the others. Not a knock on Big Al, but on two different plays he plowed his own team members over in the paint. I'd say he looked a bit more lost.

But Al Jefferson's a proven NBA player and his strength has NEVER been team play. His entire career has been "stand here, they'll throw the ball to you, make something happen when they do throw the ball to you." He's trying to re-invent himself on a team that couldn't be any more different than his previous two experiences. Pretty big difference(s). But yeah, Al definitely looked timid and not a master of the system.

But back to CJ, I'm happy it at least was his non-shooting wrist. Wrist sprains take MONTHS to fully heal, though (I got what I think was a pretty minor one 4 months ago and while I can do everything I could before, I can still feel something a little different in the affected area. Ridiculous.). This will be a nagging sonofabitch for a while.

I'm fairly confident you'll need to give Hayward a year or two. Plus, if you keep it up, Honzward will take you out for hating on his boy.

Numerica, I'm with you on Jefferson. He looked completely lost on a few sets out there. I have a feeling there are going to be some growing pains for perhaps the first half of the season. There's a lot of new guys being plugged into to a fairly complicated system. I think they'll get it, it's just not going to be as fast as the fans hope.

Dood, yer off on Hayward. I think he got rattled by the fact that it was chaos out there. Please, that scrimmage was so sloppy, in fact near boring. Last years was great, everyone knew what they were doing and the game was fun. I saw Gordon hit a nice 17ftr and a had a few good, yet unsuccessful, takes to the hoop. His block was pretty sick too. You are blinded by fear, ask at the gates.

Is CJ's left wrist hurt, or his right? From what I remember he came out with his left wrist wrapped. Can anyone confirm this, please? Is this the right thread for this......?
