What's new

College Basketball '14-15......

I'm guessing;

KU - 74
UT - 71

Pretty similar to what I'm thinking. Utah's offense hasn't really shown up against the better teams on their schedule thus far. It's concerning, but being this early, and hopefully gaining a healthier Loveridge in January, I'm hoping that is something that will take care of itself.

If they can hang within a possession of Kansas in what equates to a road game, Utah fans should be happy.

Yep.. agree.

Didn't realize the 350 lb Josh Smith was playing at Georgetown now. I thought he quit ball after his time at UCLA. Might have to watch some of their games now.

Why didn't we call timeout? Surely we can do better than a Poetl 3....

With Loveridge out we are much more limited in our options in terms of outside shooting. I think we may have been out of timeouts. I'm not going to criticize the Utes for this loss. I was glad that they fought back.

That's about what I figured. An NCAA Tourney run (or lack there of) for Utah will solely come down to Utah's ability to have 2 more honest to goodness scoring threats besides Wright. With Loveridge returning and good, young talent on this team, I don't think it's out of the realm to expect that to happen.

I think we've seen enough to say with confidence that this team can play D, rebound and match anybody in terms of effort. Now it simply becomes: Do you have enough guys who can put the ball through the hoop?
