If BYU doesn't get into the top 25 in RPI they are out. RPI is a reference not an end all be all. If as you say they get into the high 30's in RPI they have 0 chance of getting in as an at large. More big name conference teams will make it even if they have lower RPI ratings. IMO BYU is already done for in getting their at large bid. Too many loses to crappy teams including at home to Pepperdine. With no signature wins to make them seem like a fluke they are done. And my scenario had BYU jumping up to the high 30's....which is nowhere near 68. And I didn't say all 68 RPI teams made it. Most of those auto bid teams are already in the top 68 rpi. 68 is a point of reference - the futher you can move up from that number, the better of course. There aren't a ton of upsets in those conference tourneys. There's probably about I don't know....8 or 9 spots...hell say 15....to be safe that go to teams that shouldn't be in there based on RPI. That doesn't make the bubble top 25 RPI. The bubble would be the top 36 teams that aren't already Auto bids. Huge huge difference.
I will offer anyone a bet that UK gets into the record books for having the fanbase with the most inbred, glue-sniffers per capita.

Nope. Can't bet against that.
You gotta give him odds jackassI would like to publicly offer Duck Rodgers a $100 bet that byu does not make the NCAA tourney as an at large team.
Accept or decline, duck?
This is historically a great team.. **** all of you for not giving me the slightest fan props.
I gave props to cougs, Utes, mich, even unc and Duke.. I have been very respectful of a jazzfanz friend and supporting an nba-irrelevant team..
Damn, you're such a cool guy
