As far as saying we can beat anyone I think we need to take a step back and realize that yeah we did just beat one of the best teams in the country but we probably should have won that game by double digits. Some things I'd like to see - Delon to plays less timid, trust your ability to break down a defense. Jakob to work on his free throws if it gets bad enough we might see some hack-a-Jakob in late situations and that won't be good unless he can make them pay. Someone will have to fill the scoring void left by JLove, most likely one of the freshman either Chapman or Kuzma has to score. Learning how to finish games should be priority numero uno.

The "we should expect to beat most teams in the country on our home floor" was in the context of me agreeing with Gyp when he said we should have expected to beat WSU on our home court.
It's a total hypothetical thing.
If ________ came to town would I expect Utah to beat them?
With most every team it would be a yes.
Not at all saying we would beat every team in the nation. Saying we are a good team with a good home court advantage.
The tale of the season will be told on the road though. We were never able to get over the hump on the road last year, but we're sooooooooo close in every game.
That is, indeed, very close.
I'll have to make sure to catch a couple Ute games this season. Probably have to wait until they play Zona. Who else in the PAC would be exciting to watch play the Utes?
