"I came home one day and I noticed there was a note on their door," White said. "Someone else posted it, it was not me. Someone wrote them a nice handwritten letter that said this is what you guys are doing; we do not appreciate it. We would like it if you guys showed more respect.
"A couple hours later that note was on my door with the words 'suck my d***' written on it because they thought I did it. I shrugged it off, put it back on their door and later that night they came pounding on my door with the letter. They were drunk and fights almost happened that night."
White said he has felt physically threatened before but does not believe that Dejean-Jones or his roommate will pursue physical violence.
"I do not feel like they are going to try and do anything physical towards me, but when my mom and friends come over, nobody likes being here," White said.
A person inside Dejean-Jones' apartment did not open the door and declined to comment.

Sucks. Too bad and it seems there may be some addition through subtraction opportunity going on.

Interesting stat. More interesting because they did not get close to even the lowest total on their against Utah. Utah probably won this game because of their ability to control the tempo and get out to spot up shooters.
 
This Utah team clearly prides itself on defense and has taken the next step with a rim protector inside in Poeltl

Ya utah held the ball till the last seconds on the shot clock (even had the shot clock run out on then a few times) alot.

Turned out to be a good strategy.

Well be interesting to see if other teams do the same thing in byu's future games

Still won't work unless the same thing happens that happened vs Utah.

Nobody other than Haws, Collinsworth, and Winder show up. Literally nobody else did anything of note.

It hurts a lot. Poythress is our 2nd best defender (next to WCS). Fortunately we are VERY deep. Unfortunately, we have ZERO SF's and POY was the closest thing.

That sucks. I like watching him play, and I hate it when players get injured. Especially serious ones.

Police had apparently been to his house 5 times throughout the semester for noise complaints and had done everything they could without arresting him, worked with team officials, set up a text alert system for him if he was being too noisy, etc. Finally they had enough and he was arrested this time. This is apparently his 3rd citation for a "nuisance party". Not a humongous deal as far as the crime, but continuing to do it again and again is pretty dumb, and punishment seems warranted, if not necessary, since nothing else seems to work.

So he's in jail. Lol. Will miss the big game at Iowa tomorrow, which makes me sad.

I saw this the other day and wanted to comment on it. I am sure ISU knew what they were getting with him. His troubles are well documented everywhere he has been. The game against SDST when he was chucking and acting a fool on the court and then started brawling with teammates in the locker room cemented in my mind that he is a lost cause. Super talented, but just in general a birdbrained, short sighted and talented fool who hopefully makes some money in Europe so he is not committing crimes in the streets of 'merica
