They have been feeding the post a lot, but Okafor has been getting doubled and not handling them that well, and guys aren't making open shots off his passes. Winslow and Suliamon are really the only guys that can drive to the hoop, and they aren't consistent yet. They scored 74 against Miami, that should be enough to win.
Anyways, he's playing tight, high ball pressure with Tyus Jones and Quinn Cook, neither of whom are very good at defense. That leaves an average post defender in Okafor to try to help, and typically results in an open shot. He's been doing it for years. Sometimes it works, but not anymore, IMO.
Gotcha. Thanks for the analysis. Will tell a lot about your team against UL. They have a great defense, but pretty bad offense. Kind of the opposite of Duke, imo. We'll see how well K game plans. I think K is a much better in-game coach than Pitino with Pitino (when he feels like it) a better game planner/a bit more adaptive.
