College Football *2015*

You should go through this thread (a thread about college football in general) and count how many posts there are by ute fans saying negative things about byu. Remember, this is not a byu thread.
Yet you will find the number of byu related posts by ute fans to be quite high.

Then you should go into the u of u homer thread (a thread specifically about the utes mind you) and count how many negative posts there are by byu fans about university of utah.

You will find that number extremely small.

Draw your own conclusions
Have you listened to any national sports talk shows this week. If so you probably noticed that it is not only U fans who are talking about the nut punch in an overwhelmingly negative way. Have you heard those same national commentators talking about anything related to the Utah/Utah State game? Neither have I.

Draw your own conclusions.

Fine
Go through this thread and count all the negative posts by ute fans about byu that are not nut punch related.

Then go through the u of u homer thread and count all the negative posts about the utes by byu fans.

There will still be a huge difference.

Before the byu vs Boise state game happened there were already a bunch of ute fans in this general college football thread obsessing about byu.

After this coming Saturday's games there will no doubt be a whole bunch more ute fans posting a bunch of negative things about byu in this thread no matter what happens in the byu vs ucla game.
The byu football program has been and always will be living rent free inside the minds of ute fans. It's just the way it is

U fan: Your players did something dirty again.
Y fan: We matter! We matter! We matter! You wouldn't be talking about us if we didn't! We matter! See?! WE MATTER!

Exaggeration, check.
Keep posting negative things about BYU, check.

You may keep your Ute fan card for now, but keep it up.

I sincerely doubt this is true, but I'm too busy obsessing about BYU to count up the posts as you suggest.

One of the reason Zoobs think the negative post count from Ute fans is so high is that they find reality to be an insult. I don't blame them.

You doubt it's true? Lol
You don't even need to count up the posts.
Simply look at how many pages this thread is (basically the byu football discussion thread at this point) and look at how many pages the u of u thread is.

It's always been this way and probably always will be.

Hopefully ute fans can prove that byu doesn't matter so much to them by not posting about byu after their game this Saturday.
I doubt ute fans will be able to resist but maybe they will prove me wrong and shut me up on the matter.
We will see

If I count the number of posts, and then subtract the number of times you've said ^this^ same thing, the number isn't very big.

I wonder if we could assign Greg Foster to this project. I hear he's a great researcher. My recollection is that BYU wasn't even mentioned until well into this thread when you started making posts saying the first game was going to be a loss, so if this really is the BYU thread it sure isn't a very good one.

I said to count the # of ute fan posts though. So my posts wouldn't effect that number.
If you are talking about # of pages well then I got news for ya. My posts don't make up the difference. Good try though

It was actually hey hey that was first to mention byu but your point is well taken.
