At least their coaches didn't name Jake Heaps the starter afterall. I couldn't believe another team was going to hand him the reigns after bombing at BYU and Kansas, but that's what it looked like was going to happen according to the newspapers leading up to the season. Though maybe they still will, because looking at the boxscore.....15.6 QBR from the other guy is not going to secure a starting job.

Heaps is one of the worst QBs you'll ever see, but gotta give the guy credit for knowing where to sign so he'll get opportunities to play. In Miami, he was so bad he couldn't beat out a true freshman, but that guy looked brutal against L'ville - Heaps should get a shot at some point.
