As I said, I'm fine with Sexton's offense when he brings energy and still plays with a shot selection that makes sense. It does happen. What I don't want him to do is try to dribble into the trees, where he's getting his **** stuffed.Some of y'all don't give Sexton props. Last season he shot 50% from the field and 39% from three. This season he's shooting 49% from the field and 40% from three. He's very efficient on offense and as a Jazzman his shots have been down.
He's not a pure PG nor will he ever be. Keyonte is the PG of the future and having Sexton and Clarkson in the mix as combo guards is a luxury.
I think Sexton is down to improve on defense as well. He's not going to be a superstar but he's definitely got what it takes to be an important part of our rotation.
His defense, as has been pointed out, is another thing completely. He's just too small. But every bench player will have some warts, it is what it is.
