Well, I really liked Sexton as a player. Hoped we could get something good for him but alas. I wish Sexton the best, especially when he plays the Jazz. Life goes on.
Which everyone would be fine with. What is confusing is why you had to sweeten the deal with a pick.Hope you’re right. If we keep Kessler and Nurkic gets a small role next year then it ultimately becomes a nbd trade that frees up more young player playtime which is the overall goal.
I can get down with this post.I will admit the inclusion of the pick is weird, but I imagine Charlotte knows what's going down. They are making the Jazz pay a tax for an organic tank that strengthens a tank competitor.
I'm just not crying over a 2nd rounder when the positive of moving on from these placeholder vets (who deserve a chance to play unrestricted for their next contract) is much greater
It is Sexton's market value. We just paid a second plus Sexton for a guy the Suns paid a first to get off of barely 4 months ago.
Didn't Lonzo get traded to Cavs?I do love Sexton on the Hornets backing up Ball. You know he's going to get a real starting chance at some point due to Ball availability.
Nope they replaced sextons money with nurkics money and lost a draft pick.Isn't that what Jazz just did?
And they got rid of Sexton's money too
You can't be serious.
We've spent years dangling a guy (and finding no takers) who's suddenly some difference maker? Please.
