to look into the dealings of Bosh, Wade and James with the Miami Heat organization.

Okay, I made it up but it happened. Book it.

when did the NBA become a 5 on 3 type game. I hate to say this but Lakers still have the edge. The heat still have to find 8 players, 5 if they sign all their 2nd round picks.

I'm sure the cavs have made the call. New York, Toronto, New Jersey too. Lebron made his decision tonite, but the fireworks are just starting and the shockwaves willl be felt for years.

Why? There is absolutely nothing wrong with what Lebron, DWade and Bosh did. They were FA's, and could start negotiating with any team as of July 1. Wade met with a few teams and, by all accounts, flirted seriously with Chicago. Lebron met with about 6 teams, didn't he?

Owners are prevented from colluding, but there is no law against players getting together and discussing where they want to go and who they want to have as their teammates.

There's nothing wrong with what LeBron did, he did do it the wrong way though.

I am sure these guys never talked before July 1st. Right!

Nor did the heat ask wade to recruit for them or send Wade to other teams to discover thier plans.

I get that the NBA is about the players--the best athletes & competitors are rewarded. And technically the Miami 3 probably didn't break any rules. I'm suggesting that it is bad for the league to have the three together & owners recognize the potential damage to thier league and will investigate what happened. The new CBA will have multiple owners supporting more stringent FA rules, tighter salary restrictions, trying to rest the power from the players and bring equality and competition to the league. But The finacial and competivie inequities of the league will be exposed.

The LAL, Miami, Chicago, Dallas, New Jersey, Portland & New York owners probably don't care about tighter controls. The owners may be split.

The NBA will change dramatically and I think it may possibley split. Not good if you are a NBA or Jazz fan. Anyone know where I can buy some Utah Stars gear?
