So who has it and who likes it? I'm just switching over from quest tomorrow. I got the 12.0 megs, will that be sufficient for blacks ops?
 
I've used comcast for a couple of years now. I've never had any problems with it. I don't do anything more than surf the net with it.
 
I stopped playing BlackOps because my comcast internet sucks. I had the same problem with Halo. The speed seemed fine but I had a crap load of lost packets.!
 
Plenty sufficient for internet to run black ops, Comcast is one of the best ISP's out there, I had Qwest at one time but realized they were ripping us off with pretty pathetic service.Switched to comcast, haven't looked back since.... but to let you know I had to upgrade my computer's processor from dual core to quad core to run the game smoothly
 
It depends on your bandwidth usage. Black Ops only? Sure that is more than enough. Black Ops and kids viewing youtube and wife playing on facebook and other kid doing homework and someone else streaming a movie and you will experience lag. We pay for 24 meg and it keeps us going (2 comps hardwired to router, 4 other devices wireless).
 
Like with any ISP, your location, how many people around you are also using it, etc will likely play a factor in how well it will run for you. With that said, Comcast is pretty dang good to me. I just have the basic package... no upgraded speeds or anything like that and I get great download and upload speeds. Just checked at I am getting: 19MB/s down and 3.6MB/s up. Wayyyyyyy more than enough to run any console or PC game effectively.
 
I've had it for several years. I play MW2, BLKOPS a lot and very seldom have any problems. When I do have lag it's usually the server I'm on.
