Allen sucked tonight offensively, but then in his defense he played Kobe tight for the most part this whole series. Kobe should be glad that he had better help around him this time. Allen also had that one game 2, where he won it all by himself with his shooting.
He is 35, he can be excused somewhat for not shooting well after chasing Kobe all around the floor. Rondo and Pierce should have brought more to the table. They did'nt. You have to give the veterans from the Celtics some credit. They went thru 3 rounds without homecourt and still stretched it to game 7 of the NBA finals.

CJ Miles will be lucky to still be in the league when he is 35.

It sucks how Phil Jackson's team sometimes have all the luck. Perkins got injured just in time for game 7. **** that. Must be a make-up gift from the basketball gods to PhilJ for Malone injuring himself in 2004 finals.

Boston to Lakers free throw attempts. Yet, LA only had 2 more points in the paint, LA shot more 3 pointers, and 13 more rebounds. So could someone please help me understand how such a difference in FT attempts occurs if officiating is supposedly unbiased?
 
i told yall to turn it off for good like i finally did this year. stop watching that crap and supporting fake sports. dont give the NBA any viewers. you know its fake, it has been fake and will continue to be fake. whats the point? you know what the result will be.

i knew the fakers would be given the game, you didnt need to tell me that. i was actually avoiding all sports sites, message boards, sports channels just cuz i didnt even wanna see the site of the fakers winning. the fakers shot more FTs in the 4th qtr than the celtics did the entire. allowed to go over the back everytime for rebounds. its a joke.

i heard rasheed wallace was waiting in front of the refs locker room and had to be escorted out by security. watch him never play in the league again after that.

...I don't think you can blame this one on the officials. Sure, they missed some calls, but how about the hack on Artest they failed to call that would have been two shots for the Lakers, then on the next play they called a charge on Kobe that was clearly a block! This game was lost by the Celtics for 2 reasons....they gave up 25 offensive rebounds and Allen couldn't hit water if he feel out of a boat! He had some wide open looks, too! The Celtics are now in rebuilding mode....we won't be seeing them anytime soon this deep in the playoffs, that's for sure.
 
This doesn't need to be said for a lot of you posting in this thread, but my god you're dumb.

Everyone bitching about the FT desparity when LA shot, what, like 12 FTs on either intentional or obvious fouls in the last 3 minutes of the game because Boston was trying to close the gap? And Boston was doing nothing but taking jumpers in the 4th quarter? It's no surprise the FT desparity was so wide.. Boston played like a bunch of little girls in the 4th quarter and they had to foul to try to close the gap late in the game. But, logic.. yeah, many of you lack it.

Boston can't afford to go however many scoreless minutes they went in game 7 of the NBA finals, they can't rebound, can't get stops when they need to, and that's why they lost. You guys with your fanboyism about the Jazz and then whenever something doesn't go your way.. "it's rigged! The NBA is like the WWF!" Makes you sound really dumb.
