What's new

Comparable rookie years to Keyonte's. (I thought I had linked just the PER 36 min section of each player) Just look at the rookie year Per 36 min

Given Keyonte's improvement since the numbers were given a month ago, his efficiency must look better

Keyonte's #'s are great, but his eye test is even better. Some of the spins he put on his opponents last night were All-NBA quality. Dude is for real.

What about chemistry-building with players who could be on the team long term?

To that, I would ask, does anyone really believe that the majority of the players on this roster will be here when the Jazz truly are vying for playoff contention? I don’t.

I think that the Jazz want to build around Markkanen and love the versatility that he offers when thinking about building a winning team. Outside of that, I guess you could say that Walker Kessler and Keyonte George are likely to be around for a while. So sure, play those guys and mix in some of these other young players who we know nothing about
And incremental improvements help team trajectory even if that player is not on the championship team.

if Simone had not improved we could not have parlayed him into a pick. The pick might be an asset we use to get a rotation guy or use to get a yotstion guy. Or not. It is a stochastic process
