Conference Finals

What the hell was Vogel thinking taking Hibbert out for the last two positions?
Lebron gets two easy layups to win the game. Man I thought Ty did some bonehead moves, but wow...

...it's unthinkable and inexcusable for George to let Lebron get past him that easily under those circumstances! You MUST keep the man in front of you, even if they allow traveling, palming, steps, carrying the ball, etc.etc.etc! I know that's easier said than done but the WHOLE game James was driving to the basket completely unimpeded for easy layups even in the halfcourt setting! How does that happen? I'm at a loss for words! James is big and strong, but not as quick as say Westbrook who gets to the basket at will. Just bad defense....and yes, Hibert should have been in the game.

Vogal said he was worried about what they were going to do with Bosch so he took out Hibbert. After what happened he said he might leave him in next time. Pick your poison... but the poison I would pick would be let Boscshshe shoot and have a big guy meet Lebaron at the basket. Lebroon is just that good.

THAT was an incredibly dumb move by Vogel, especially after Lebron had just burned him on it a few minutes before. Who do you want taking the last shot, MVPx4 LBJ or Bosch?

That said, Vogel has an amazing demeanor for a high level coach. He seemed to be in a very relaxed, almost joking mode when most coaches would be frothing at the mouth.

....and he admitted he was wrong and would do things differently next time! I like this guy! There saying now that he pulled Hibert because he missed a couple of defensive assignments just previously to that play! So he holds his players accountable for there actions or non-actions! Corbin does that, too, doesn't he?

Charles Barkley said taking Hibbert out was the right move, and Spoelstra said the "genius" play he drew up didn't play out but that LeBron is that good.

Haters gonna hate.

Lets see: they lost the game by giving up an uncontested layup with their best rim protector on the bench. Yes, that was clearly the right move, very very clearly. NOT! No hate involved, just simple straightforward analysis. And if Barkley said what you said he did, then was wrong too.

Barkley says dumb things all the time. I mean, he predicted a Memphis vs Indiana Finals. I'm guessing he'll also pick San Antonio to beat Miami in the Finals.

The best player in the game adjusted to his surroundings on horrible defense by George. I'm not going to join the soap opera about the coach over that.

Besides, no way Hibbert could have blocked LeBron if he were in anyway. Watch the video: https://www.nba.com/playoffs/2013/eastseries7?ls=iref:nbahpt3a

Charles is one of my favorite personalities ever, but I think Vogel did not have his team prepared to handle this situation. It is amazing that the Pacers kept the game as close as it was. They make a ton of dumb mistakes, not to mention that the Heat flop a lot and get away with more fouls.

TWO SECONDS LEFT. Force the team to make one pass, and take a contested jump shot, come on, anything but a layup. LeBron layup or a Bosh jumper? Come on!!!!!

But I give Vogel credit for getting his team in position to have a chance. He must have done something right.

he could easily break that record... considering he almost averages a triple double

...he's been in the league for what, 9, 10 years? You think he's got 20 more triple doubles in him on the playoff venue? I doubt it. He probably won't get another one this year.

.....they should have let Lebron get the ball without even contesting the pass! He probably would have moved out to the 3 point line and that would have given even a slop dummy enough room to keep him in front of him! There were only two seconds left on the clock. He'd have to take the jump shot. But that's water over the dam now. Let's see how well the Pacers play tomorrow. If they can cut down on all those turnovers, they can beat these clowns!
