What's new

Congresswoman shot.

You are an idiot, watch Olbermann's video. He himself apologized for violent comments he made in the past.

You really think what he may have said in the past compares in any way to what the Tea Party revolution supports and encourages? It's not even close. The proof is right in front of you. How many republican politicans have been shot by random Keith Olberman fans in the past couple of years?

Wow.

You are actually saying that Palin and the Tea Party were the reason this man shot all these people? Right now there is no evidence in support of that. In all his videos or writings there is no mention of the Tea party or any right wing commentator. I am going to take a lucky guess and say that you don't work for the FBI. Also what the hell is a "politican"?

Can you elaborate? I'd like to know more about this.

Orwell via British Intelligence services, The Huxley family knew everyone that mattered in the Anglo-British power structure.

It all started with the theory of Evolution. Grandpa Huxley and Darwin were chums. Darwin comes out with the theory of Evolution, and everybody thinks it's complete ****(and probably rightfully so). Through the years Darwin still remains well thought of in the Huxley clan and they remain active in the scientific world. Then Julian Huxley, Aldous' brother, comes along and realizes that he if he can convince people of the theory of Evolution, they can use it as a pretext for population control/abortion/eugenics. So obviously, that was something of a god send for the oligarchical structure of the world. They love that stuff. Even today people like Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Mark Zuckerberg, Rockefellers, Saxe-Coburg and Gotha(aka the Windsors), Ted Turner, John Holdren, yada, yada, damn near every foundation out there, etc. pushes population control/abortion/eugenics and that's the reason evolution is taught in schools. So the Huxleys, already a part of the oligarchical elite by birth, became elevated even higher inside that structure due to their scientific vision of what evolution could be promoted into and expressed their ideas in meetings with other big wigs, and that's where Aldous' entire conceptual framework for his books came from.

And of course, and completely fitting for this thread I might add, evolution and the Anglo-British elites' politicizing of it were a big inspiration for barbarians of the 20th century that came subsequently.

Please enlighten us. What does the tea party support that is so dangerous? The constitution? Freedom? I've never a seen a lick of evidence that it's a violent movement. The tea party aren't going to be the people smashing windows and causing violence when **** hits the fan, that much is clear by the actions of the far left in other countries. The left in this country are all wannabe Europeans, their story has already been told.

In conclusion, reading the second United States constitution I can't trust the current government because of the ratifications: the government is implying mind control and brainwash on the people by controlling grammar.

OK, yeah, this guy is clearly bat-****; but have you ever seen or heard a Tea Party rally in its entirety? I have. Go to one BEFORE the keynote speaker arrives and listen to the "warm-up" act which is usually some local low level public official or radio personality. This is pretty much what you'll hear.

Beantown, are you a Tea Party and/or Palin supporter?

Don't act like it doesn't come from both sides. Even Olbermann could admit that in that video. People talked about acting violent towards Bush all the time. Not to mention there was a mainstream "hypothetical assassination" film about Bush. Violent suggestions have been spoken about Beck, Hannity or Limbaugh....or even Palin.

There are many people I dislike on both sides but Olbermann is right in saying it has to stop now. Trying to put this one group of people does not do any good.

Wow, on all sides, there's a lot of rhetoric from some of you that is oversimplifying and overgeneralizing the situation. Yeah, I usually poke fun at him, but Beantown made some good points in these two posts. And thanks, Katie, for posting the Olbermann video.

Anyhow, do you 20 and 30-somethings honestly think this is the work of a politically-inspired 22 year old acting completely on his own? From my perspective, when I picture a 22 year old taking this type of violent action, it's against a girlfriend who broke up with him, or his parents who are "controlling" him, or a coach or teacher who's humiliated him, or classmates or whatever. Or perhaps a nutcase like John Hinckley shooting the President to get Jodie Foster's attention...

But not against an elected official because they disagree with them, know what I mean?

There's been talk that Jared Loughner did not act alone, and I've heard some reports this morning on the radio that he is starting to change his story a little bit and says that there was another person involved. Wouldn't surprise me a bit.

Chances are there will be many folks and news media outlets with much egg on their faces in a few weeks.

So far the reactions have been predictable. Everybody is playing thier parts right on cue.

Just heard that the 9 year old girl that was killed is the granddaughter of former Cubs manager (and Phillies) Dallas Green, and ironically she was born on Sept. 11, 2001. That doesn't make it any more or less sad, just an ironic twist...

A huge NO on Palin. I don't mind the Tea Party because I am for less government and cutting the deficit but I don't agree with a lot of their other principles.

I want a balanced government and I think the Tea Party has helped establish that.
