I get that, and have been through similar experiences. That said, there are small things you could do that would not necessarily be seen as a direct rebuke/reaction. When your boss asks a question, look at her or your computer, take notes but don't look at the speaker, etc., while the response is being made. I clearly don't know the context of what exactly you are dealing with, but I hope you do all you can to shut crap like this down. We all have a responsibility, we can harp about injustice/etc., but doing nothing is part of the problem.I can’t because I’m usually with an elected official, I’m just staff. These are the people who pull the levers of power and I could lose my job.
I definitely show dissatisfaction, but it’s not my job to police peoples behavior unless my boss tells me to. She told me not to react.
