Was looking at some new (and existing car tech).

Built in GPS

Airless tires- Tires cannot go flat as their is no air. no need for a tire repair kit.

Heated and cooling seats - temputure controlled seats based on need

Dual air bags - air bags in the doors in addition to the consol

keyless entry - no more keys needed (wonder how long before that is a phone feature)

Cornering headlight system - headlights turn based on the direction your wheels turn. headlights are more effective in windy roads

Windshiels sound wave system- basically the replaces the windshield wiper and motor. Uses sound waves to repel snow, water, bugs, dirt... car is lighter and more aerodynamic

Blind Spot Detection - emits a beep when you are to close to the lane divider and your turn signal is not on.

Thought these were cool

Some of them are old but some are new to me. Such as the soundwave system and the blind spot control.

Ya, the windshield thing is new to me. Just giving you **** cuz half that stuff is over 5 yrs old

Is the windshield thing legit, or just a gimmick?

Basically the McLaren company is developing it for cars. It is already in use on fighter jets.

Says it could cost $15 per car. The entire wiper assembly is never even added to your car. A 30KHz transducer is added and it hits the windshield with sound waves and causes it to vibrate and clear off the windshield.

That all sounds great, except the airless tire. Air pressure keeps a tire round, even when there is uneven wear. I'm not sure how an airless tire could maintain it's shape.

I think the airless tire thing is cool as well as the headlights turning when you turn the steering wheel
