he had a great defensive player in carroll that he barely ever played

he mis used milsap for his entire tenure here.

and he also had Jefferson who is having a career year and the bobcats defense doesnt seem so bad either with him in the line up.

not to mention this year was a rebuild year and who did he play for 30+ minutes? jefferson. OH BOY!

alec burks is a superior player to both jefferson and bricksauce.

also hayfense is a total joke.

guy sucks.

pull the plug.

Dude. Yam yam. The bobcats and hawks are no better than the jazz were last year and the year before. Still though, fire Corbin and get a new coach, because we are going to get a player better than either sap or Jefferson this year!

I do agree that we should have kept Carroll, I liked the guy and he's playing a great supporting role.

Caroll was fun, but a good defensive player? Hardly. Dude was a gambler.

Was cool to see sap, caroll, and korver beat the pacers tonight though.

Your Al and defense point is legit though.

Hayfense isn't on Hayward, that's on the FO, and that's just what it took to ensure us a top 7 pick. With the cap increase this year and the one expected next year, and the way our contracts are lined up for extensions, it doesn't hurt to sign Hayward and frontload his contract.

If DL has the reigns, Ty will not be re-inked. If Ty is back, it means the problems are deeper than expected, and the Millers and Rigby are meddling with management in very dangerous ways and we all might as well remember the Jazz in contention as a sweet but distant memory.

30th defense in the league....
corbin doesn't understand defense nor offense.....he doesn't belong at the front line coaching. period.

You can't argue that the jazz didn't have talent. They did. Just like we do today. Corbin sucks.

I think KOC deserves some blame here. You let several nice players leave for nothing. Compare this to the business world. We sold several assets go for free. That can't happen. I get the junk yard, Korver, Millsap, and Jefferson weren't Lebron James. But what exactly did we get for them? Didn't we essentially donate them to other teams? Couldn't we have gotten something... Anything? For any of those players?

We could have gotten something for Milsap and Jefferson but we would have had to traded them before the trade deadline 2 years ago and at that point we wanted to make the playoffs and the team was getting hot, then the team fell apart right after the trade deadline. If we traded them we would have had to taken back contracts as well.

atleast the hawks won a playoff game.

how cnahayfense be on hayward or the fornt office.

hayfense is corbin offensive system. where gordon hayward dominates the ball and creates for everyone.

an offensive system is ON THE COACH

beside bigal and millsap he had one of the best bench in the nba in favors, kanter and burks

do you remember how our bench always dominated? still corbin found a way to suck

the 4ot game against atlanta was an obvious evidence that he doesn't have a clue how to coach

also hayward was in a good role coming off the bench.

I think the 45 point loss AT HOME against Houston last year deciphered who Styrone Corbin was. You know.
He has no sense of urgency, no true gameplan, and most obvious... NO IN GAME ADJUSTMENT.
Oh, he adjusted his tie though, Best coach EVAR!1

& yet that Jazz team was consistently one of the best performing 4th quarter teams. Y'all will ignore it tho, like everything else.

LOL - what's your point? Utah was the best garbage-time team in the league? Do you really think that stat has any validity when your average point per game differential is the worst in franchise history?

Any other gems in your Tyrone Corbin Silver Linings Playbook?

Slippin bro.

Interesting to watch ex-Jazzmen lead their 3 teams to the playoffs, including two guys who were bench players with Jazz and are now starters, Carrol and Korver. Not great talent but much better than we got out of them. Nice work Ty (and Ol Jer who had Korver as a backup too).

Last I checked each game has 4 quarters. It's just as important to not be blown out after 1 or 2 and have a chance to win the 4th. I remember so many games where the starters were digging HUGE holes, subs would come in, tighten up the game, then the Jazz would get hammered again in the 3rd.

Wins and losses matter. Progress matters.
