Is this an appropriate core value list for a college football team, or should these players be held to a higher standard?

All college athletes should be required to take a vow of celibacy.

Is this a Chinese Buddhist monk school of lying down on the football field in a non-violent show of solidarity?

I bet they don't allow big headed player interviews either...

I'm with ^ ^ that guy.

If I were coaching a real college football team, there would be absolutely no drug or alcohol imbibing while at the school. If you're doing those things, then you're not on my team. I'd seal the deal with a handshake and a promise, but if they were ever busted, they'd be done. I did like the part about respect for women, which is something that I don't think any of us would have thought to put on a sign like that. I'd also have something on there about being humble in victory, and gracious in defeat.

Many Utah players are over 21, and Utah doesn't have an honor code. IMO "No DUI's" is another way of saying "Don't drink and drive". I don't really see why this has been a hot topic with BYU fans but when you've lost 7 out of 10, you do have to dig a little deeper for smack talk.

Personally, I was bummed out that "Don't beat up customers at Betos during early morning Burritto runs" wasn't listed on the code of conduct.

They need to work on their mantra.

Tough
Smart Guys

Fundamentally and
Technically Sound

Eliminate Bad Football

Doesn't quite have a good ring to it.

What's wrong with alcohol if it is consumed moderately and responsibly?
