Could Gobert eventually replaces BIEDRINS as a bench player ?

I could typecast you equally by saying it will be funny when it becomes obvious to everyone that gobert is better than biedrins and then you will blast corbin for not playing him and using his development as proof that corbin is a idoit. But I think that would be rude and dishonest.

True.

But I do give corbin credit for things at times and take the side of corbin and give him the benefit of the doubt sometimes (like how I understood why he played millsap and jeffy over the young bigs)

It seems that you never criticize anything he does and contantly compare him to popovich and phil jackson etc.

Just seems like corbin is perfect to you is all

You've already typecast half the board that way.

It will be funny when it becomes obvious to everyone that gobert is better than biedrins and then you can just say its because corbin developed him just perfectly and he was not better than biedrins until the exact moment that corbin gives gobert more minutes

Just curious.....
@franklin... in your opinion has corbin ever made a mistake in regards to rotations/minutes?

True.

Fish, re-read the thread. I never said anything about Corbin in here. You made a point once again to make it about my opinion on Corbin when I was discussing thread topic merits of Gobert vs. Biedrins.

Ironic since I've been the most vocal anti-Beeno critic -- I made the original Biedrins flame thread and have continued that in here.

I'd like to see Gobert ahead of Beans simply for the fact that he blocks shots and dunks on people's heads. Beans also looked like dump against Kanter in the scrimmage. Kanter ate his liver with Fava "beans" and a nice Chianti. If we can see some more of the (as a Warriors fan put it) Kareem Abdul-Jabeans/Lue Alciedrins doing spin moves on Bogut, than so be it. Beans has been a shell of himself for the last few years, but maybe this is his year. Doubt it. One last thing-if I hear David Locke, or anyone else for that matter, say how well Beans sets picks, I'm going to vomit seven bean soup all over myself.

I just had a LOL re-reading some posts on Biedrins. Nothing better than these by local idiot CiCiCrackStar
Offensively, Biedrins was tentative at best except for one good drive to the basket. He did seem to pass the ball well, which makes sense for someone who is afraid to shoot the ball. However, GoBear looked like he was a freakishly tall high school player playing in an NBA game. Lots of work there. I think Biedrins will be the primary backup for the forseeable future, but next season, if Biedrins truly does resurrect his career, the Jazz will prefer the one million dollar contract of GoBear over the five to ten million dollar deal a seven foot veteran like Biedrins will be getting.

My wild prediction? Next season, we don't re-sign Biedrins because we just can't afford him and keep our flexibility intact. He then goes and plays for the Spurs because they like international players and Duncan will be pretty much retired at that point. Then the end of the season we duke it out with them in the second round of the playoffs and Go-Bear shows why we kept him on the team. ;)

First of all, it's a preseason game. Second of all, Biedrins has a massive guaranteed contract so he's gonna be on the team, might as well get him integrated. Thirdly, Biedrins played better. Sorry. You say it's all about the youth. If that's true, send the youth to the d-league team. This is the pros, this is the big league. Preform or sit on the bench, you don't lose games to pamper the children at the top level, have some pride man.

Also, it was fun to remember how regularly fishonjizz got trolled by franklin^99!
