Could the Jazz Milk Washington if The Ace Saga Sours?

The most ironic thing of this all is if Omar Cooper wasn’t involved with Ace Bailey he likely wouldn’t have fell to 5 and the Utah Jazz wouldn’t have been able to draft him.
Yeah and i don't mind that at all.

He played the game. He played his cards, and we called his bluff.

He lost. We won.

Game over.

What I don't get is Givony’s cryptic message on the pre-draft show that he knows EVERYONE is watching to stir the pot.

The reason this **** happened is not because Ace wanted to go to a certain spot.

The reason they angled to one destination was because of what Omar wanted.

What Omar wanted was what was best for him financially and potentially costs Ace millions.

Omar is a piece of work.
Just curious, is this speculation, or do you have inside info?

Lord knows that the world is full of bad faith actors who behave similarly as your describe or much, much worse. Many of them may be player agents.

Thsi story has the potential to go off the rails quickly with wild speculation stated with undeserved confidence, if it hasn't already done so.

This all seems odd
Jazz should know who is a player's legit agent
Agent should have contacted every NBA team before draft
Reporters should know this info too for interviews
Very odd

Ace was clearly not the most stoked when drafted. We don't need to be blind about this. He didm want to be in Utah. He just has to accept he is in Utah, which I'm sure he has

sure, but he didn't want to be in utah like nobody wants to be in utah. nothing out of the ordinary. what made this this unusual was omar cooper.

no draft prospects, who have never spent time in utah, are sitting there thinking i sure as hell hope i get to go live in utah for at least six months every year.

Draft night it seems Ace is resigned to the fact he’s going to Utah.

His actual agent gave an interview accepting that fact too.

BUT - it seems Givony (and maybe Cooper too?) didnt want to accept that fact.

To me that’s REALLY odd.
