Could the Jazz Milk Washington if The Ace Saga Sours?

The NFL protected Shedeur Sanders? Let's please pull our heads out of our asses here, lol. Owners only care about one thing: retaining their power. The NFL Players' union is pathetic in comparison to the NBA's, only reason their mickey mouse **** hasn't happened in the NBA as much

Protected Shadeur how? From his own father and who has been the only coach he’s known?

Shadeur just isn’t great. A couple handfuls of college qb’s put up gaudy stats every season. That doesn’t mean it’s going to translate to the NFL or that they’ll be drafted in the first few rounds of the draft.

Add in that Shadeur had and has continued to have off the field issues that raise character concerns, and it makes sense that he’d fall.

Andrew Witlieb, the President of GSE Worldwide said in an interview yesterday that Ace is thrilled to come to Utah and it was one of the best spots for him basketballwise.

GSE Worldwide is the talent agency that Ace and Omar Cooper hired. Witlieb said Ace and Omar primary motivation was to get him in a situation that is the best fit for him, and Utah was one of the best options.

Even this agency choice is bizarre. They mainly represent golfers. The only two NBA players they rep at Bub Carrington and Ace. Wonder if Omar chose them because they’re letting him be involved.

It’s so weird.

I have been around high level prospects(in another sport) and I have seen the exact type of parent this guy seems to be. They are living their lives vicariously through their children and in the worse cases - they are using their kids to make themselves the center of attention and trying to monetize their relationships with the kid with the actual talent. I couldn't stand those people when I was around around them and I cannot stand watching them from afar, while they are ruining(or at the very least hampering) the careers of those prospects. I've seen a parent take his kid off the team because he didn't start a game and sending him in a much worse environment only to lash out against the coach and prove some sort of misguided point. I've seen parents making decisions about their kids future based almost exclusively based on who's going to give them the most money next month... and we are talking about 16-17 year olds here. The prospect has 15-20 year career in front of him and if everything goes right he will be making millions, but the dad has decided that having a couple thousand bucks now is more important to him than the kid being in the best situation for him. Those are leeches. At some point they stop being parents and they become something else entirely...

And here... this guy is not even the parent of Ace. He's just the dad of a AAU friend who somehow managed to attach himself to his camp and usurp decision-making privilleges. WTF...

My guess is that Cooper will go away as he did with Okoro. He will go back to Mceachern to leach off the next prospect (and sell coke?). Maybe there's some drama with summer league, but the Jazz already made the decision that matters.

Omar is Ace's Utah. People take the 5% bad and make it the whole thing about him. People don't know the good and distort what really is. Just like Utah has 5% bad people who don't experience Utah make it 95% bad. Utah fans let people love and respect people who love them and let them decide who in is best in lives just like you would want others to respect your decision to be in Utah and love the community and state. Just slow down on the judgement.
