guess when Simmons is having the worst month of his career right now you have to make up other dumb **** like this. Every month in the NBA he is getting worse. Teams have figured him out ???

Ben Simmons is averaging 12.7 points, 12.5 rebounds, 11.5 assists and 2.1 steals per game over his last seven games, you clown.

Oh in that same time span Mitchell lead his team to a much better record while scoring 13 more points a game. Thats what real ROYs do not just stat stuffers like Sillyson do. Remember when he was good? That first month was great before he steadily went downhill. Pretty safe to assume he will keep slipping next year when the real players on his team help them win like Embiid, who will get real minutes.

Who are you going to suggest 76ers trade Bill Simmons do next year when he isnt that good and not getting enough minutes? I hope its too a good team like Sacramento who could use a garbage time stat stuffer.


Sampson did have a mosnster 4th again tonight though. He set a career high of making 75% of his FTs in the 4?!!!!! Wow he made 3 of 4 FTs and his team carried him to another win.

If only he played in the 4th like he did in the 1st he would be a monster. Too bad he disappears when games matters and lets good players help him get wins.

I agree with this. I do think it’s debateable how much a redshirt year helps prepare a player for an NBA season and if that should be held against them. . . But I don’t think that bashing Simmons is warranted at all. His overall game is very, very good. I’m curious to see how well his game holds up if he can’t improve his outside shot, but he’s helping his team win games right now and get to the playoffs. He’s aided (significantly) by having guys like Embiid and Saric handle the scoring load, but he’s playing within the system and is getting the job done.

My point for this thread was to show how prolific Donovan has been as a scorer and #1 option for this team. Also to show how much room for improvement he has based on what guys comparable to him have done before going on to bigger and better things.

They matter and for him he can't score like Mitchell so he has to focus on those.

Those stats also disappear in the 4th as well for him.

An additional year of college, and all the year-round development that top prospects get these days, helps a player develop.

So Donovan has an unfair advantage over the one-and-done rookies.
