For you, Sloanjoke.

Is Carlos Boozer so weak that he can’t come up with a good game after a bad start?

In the first half of Game 3 of the Bulls’ playoff series against the Pacers, Boozer managed only two points, same as the number of fouls he committed.

And then he got worse, missing six shots in the third quarter, one of them a dunk. A dunk, do you hear me?

After contributing 17 points a game before, Boozer was lost early in Game 3. And he stayed lost. No rhythm, no touch, no nothing.

He ended up with four points and four fouls. Yeah, the Bulls won, but $80 million must go a lot farther if the Bulls are going a lot farther.

Lol. I bet most Chicago fans would happily take Big Al over Boozer right now too:

Lol.

Some people are wondering if Carlos has a lack of motivation, whether it's because he's going up against length (to which others quickly point out that he was getting swatted by smaller guys during the last part of the season), and then they bemoan his remaining 4 years at $60 mil.

ALL BOW DOWN TO BOOZER AND SLOANFAIL!!!

This one stood out to me:

boozer's pretty much a turd. he's not even that effective on offense because of his slow *** feet.
even if he gets out on hansbrough, he'll still get beat off the dribble because of his aforementioned slow *** feet.
more taj please. at least he doesnt just stare at the offensive player.
boozer's not just lazy, he's incapable.

Funny they have 30 pages in this one thread and it is mentioned again and again how many threads they have had regarding Boozer's inability/unwillingness to play D.

This is good too. Backs up the assertion by many of us here who we really missed this season:

And we were some Rose and Korver heroics away from the entire forum raking Boozer over the coals for his performance in this game. I don't think you can just ignore the way he played just because we won the game.

It will get a lot uglier if Orlando advances assuming they'll stick Howard on Booze and Bass on Noah. For that matter, I doubt Booze will do well against Smith either. But Booze is a great outside shooter which can be the equalizer if he's on.

if any of you are watching the Bulls games, you're most likely watching the national telecast, not the one with the local (regularly Neil Funk and Stacey King, with Scottie Pippen joining them for these playoff games) Bulls announcers - - but they're not holding their breath in raking booze over the coals for his sluggish play and generally lousy defense.

Lol, Boozer taking a three with 5 seconds left and a timeout remaining. Bwahahahaha!!!! All bow to Jimmerfan, er, I mean Sloanfail!!!

I knew he wouldnt be that good for them. While Rose may be the best PG in the league, he is not in the same league as Dwill when it comes to pick 'n roll play that Boozer really excels at. They basically gave Boozer a max deal to help them dominate the boards (which they have) and someone who can yell a lot.

Oof.

Boozer is showing why Clownfail loves him so much. Oh wait, we still dont know why.

Same thing the Jazz went through w/ playoff Boozer... minus a series or 2 against Yao.

On a side note, where the hell was Korver when WE needed a huge playoff 3 (or 5)?

I've always hated the sports talk radio in Chicago...and this is a perfect example why.

When they signed carlos you repeatedly heard 'lunch-pale, hard working, great defender, beast' from the windbags. Now they're all crying about the same stuff we did. No heart, no defense, wilts under pressure, etc... This morning callers and hosts were complaining about how Boozer yells all game (and 1, grab it, etc) along with his piss poor performances in all four games thus far.

It is a personally joyous time for me being amongst all my Bulls fans. Whether it's text messages saying 'you were right' or hearing my friends yell obscenities at him on the TV at the bar, they are both equally satisfying.

Carlos Boozer was, and always will be, fool's gold. Deceiving stats for such a weak competitor. I was anticipating him beasting the lowly Pacers then wilting against tougher competition as usual, but this is remarkable. Hansbrough is just outworking him in every facet and he's been exposed early. I'm not surprised Sloanfeld has been a no-show in this thread. Carlos and his similarities are striking - acne included.
