Cubs Official Thread - Dynasty in the making

Addison Russell getting promoted for the game tomorrow..... This Cubs lineup is the equivalent of baseball porn now.
 
****ing badass win today. Was so much fun to watch them pull through at the end. Bullpen is in shambles, but the meat of the order can definitely produce.

Russell looked pretty bad, but he hit a hard line drive his last time up - just happened to be right at the shortstop.

Schlitter continues to suck. Hopefully Maddon catches on sometime.

Kris Bryant looks incredible at the plate. Looks like he will be an OBP machine, which is what Rizzo already is.
 
Kris Bryant is the real deal. Dude is going to be a top 10 player. Not sure what to think of Addison Russell yet though.

Need to beat Cole Wednesday. We definitely can do it with Jake on the mound, but it still won't be a walk in a park.

Choked? They played bad baseball. The Astros could end up winning it all and the Cubs losing the WC game. That's baseball for you. The hottest team usually wins. My point was the Cubs won 97 games in by far the toughest division in baseball and were better than the Astros during the regular season. We will see what happens.

That just doesn't make sense because....

Bryant>>>>>Correa

All on his own..... The Cubs also won 97 games and the Astros didn't even win 90. The NL Central alone had a 100, a 98 and a 97 win team. It's too bad your team was sent to the AL West. I say that in all sincerity. The Brewers should've been sent back to the AL.
 
Haven't been a Cubs fan since the early 80's, but I am from Chicago and I would like to see the curse broken, so GO CUBS!!!
 
Pissed I didn't do the Cards at 12:1 to win it all before the season started.

My money would be on them. They just know what they're doing.
