Gotta be Kessler right, since he can’t be aggregated?

Then, in descending order from least to most likely gone:

2. Jarred Vanderbilt (fits the archetype of player Ainge wants)
3. Nickeil Alexander-Walker (just traded for him and has really yet to play)
4. Doke (no market)
5. Butler (no market)
6. Rudy Gay (no market)
7. Leandro Bolmaro (no market)
8. Jordan Clarkson (my vote for tank commander)
9. Malik Beasley
10. Bojan Bogdanovic
11. Mike Conley
12. Pat Beverley
13. Donovan Mitchell

I think 10-13 certainly get traded, 8-9 likely get traded, and we could possibly try to sneak a few of 4-7 into another deal (especially Gay).

But I think 1-3 are likely on the Jazz next season. Thoughts?

Surprised this didn’t get more attention. Love the breakdown and my hope would be that we soldier on with all but 10 through 13. I appreciate your nomination for tank commander - I really hate the idea of losing players in their prime and playing well just to fit a timeline or to facilitate a less contrived and engineered tank.

Anybody remember what the great one (Rudy Gobert) said about tanking? Something to the effect that it’s learning to lose and doesn’t engender winning habits. I look at teams like Sac, Houston, OKC and Detroit and gotta think that there’s a lot of truth in that.

I hope this draft is truly the land of milk and honey and not just about a shot at Victor W. cause trust me, we ain’t that lucky! I don’t mind cashing out on our All Stars at peak value but why not bring in a couple pieces like Sexton and see what this baby can do as constructed with a new driver at the wheel. Seems like a more honest approach and most our future draft picks will be out of our hands anyways!
